I'm Sam. I'm from New York. No, not the City.
I like to bike. Alot. Biking is my biggest pasttime, hobby, excercise, and moneypit. Except perhaps eating. I often spend several hours each day riding, breaking, fixing, or talking about mountain biking.
I am a skier. I don't snowboard. Snowboarding is lame. So is skateboarding. Snowboarders are almost always druggie pricks; skaterboys are almost always complete and total posers. Naturally, I will admit that there are some exceptions.
I can't stand people who feel that they need to fit into a group. If that's how you roll, then you are just too much of a pansy to do your own thing. At the same time, people also must be willing to accept and conform to the status quo every now and then.
I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. Never have, probably never will (no, not even for the 21st b-day or 420). However, I do NOT call myself "straight-edge" because straight edgers are often angry losers who guzzle Monster and Mountain Dew to be cool and get all wired up.
I don't try to impress people. When it comes to impressing people either you will impress them naturally, or not at all. If you try to impress someone who isn't impressed to begin with, then you are just more of a tool.
I am a horrible cynic, but I have found that it is better to get a pleasant surprise than an unpleasant one.

Oh yeah.......and I absulutely abore mispeled words.
