There's something about those great songs that just make you feel good.

My favourite songs include Jefferson Starship - Sara, Trey Songz - Can't Help But Wait, 2 pac Eminem Feat Tupac - When Thugs Cry, Al Jarreau - My Favorite Things.

In fact, music is a very important part of my life. I listen to a range of styles from 1980s and hip hop to trance, funk, RnB and pop. (Just not hard rock and heavy metal.)

I also enjoy doing Sudoku puzzles, playing pool and having a quiet drink (a Guinness would be nice) at a pub.

Catching up with friends at a cafe or eating a nice meal out are two of my favourite ways to spend time.

In my spare time, I also like to experiment with making my own music using electronic composition software on my computer. (Ask me about it...). I also like karaoke and am a member of several karaoke websites where I have recorded myself singing to various songs, and occasionally enjoy singing with an overseas friend by webcam & voice chat. I also can play piano and enjoy taking photos with my phone.

My favourite movies are time traveller's wife, iron man, push, streetdance. Favourite tv series are smallville, the event, flashforward, the goodies, dr who, stargate sg1, sliders. Favourite movie genres are science fiction and comedy, though I also like action and romance.

Technology interests me, and I am currently furthering my career prospects by studying for a Master of Information Technology.

When I'm not studying, I like to do lots of different things.

There's so much to do and see in the world - like jazz concerts, a game of table tennis, card & board games, chess, checking out live theatre, comedy or contemporary dance, visiting an art gallery, a lake cruise, tennis or badminton, short films such as tropfest, floriade, carols by candlelight - and lots more.

But it would be even better to have some new friends to share these experiences with.

I am interested in meeting like-minded people who really enjoy life.

To be honest, I can be quite shy at times, but when it comes to friendship, I am very loyal and reliable.

I am a genuine person who is a good listener and I value personal relationships highly.

Also I have a silly side and can be funny, you might find yourself laughing. I enjoy sometimes laughing with my chat friends, they have shown me how enjoyable chat can really be. Also I like meditation (entrainment binaural beats e.g. alpha waves etc I have some mp3s and CDs), its a calming relaxing effect.
